讲座简介：

While the concept of prosumption- the interrelated process of production and consumption- is relatively new, the process itself is primal. People have always prosumed, but is there something new about it today? This talk addresses whether prosumption today is much as it was early in human history (“eternal return of the same”), whether it has evolved over time, or whether it has been revolutionized in recent years. It will be argued that prosumption today has all three characteristics- people have always prosumed, but it has changed over time, and in recent years it has been revolutionized with the development of new means of prosumption, especially those on the internet.
